After graduating from Ellet, I attended the University of Akron from 1974 to 1979. I graduated with a B.A. in pyschology. I worked part time in Geology Department office while a student. But I was hired full-time in the Counseling, Testing and Career Center after graduating. I was a testing specialist.

I married Randy Pelton in 1981. We have been married 29 years. We have no children.

I retired from the University of Akron in January 2006.

I have never moved out of Akron, but I have traveled to Canada and Scotland.

I do some crafting. But mostly I just relax and enjoy retirement.
